Assignment 17 - Elevator Pitch No.2

Elevator Pitch No.2:
 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VsFjwK2z_b4

Reflection:

The feedback I received was mostly about confusion on whether or not my service was a booking service that actually placed bets for customers. I cleared this up in my video explaining that although we would be taking advantage of the new sport betting laws and market out there, we are not a service that takes bets like a booking service. We are a service that just provides information and data to customers to help them more accurately make decisions that benefit them with their bets.

What I changed based off  feedback:
Based off this feedback I changed my pitch up a little bit. I made sure I was more relaxed and calmer in my new elevator pitch. I spoke with more confidence and spoke slower so my viewers could understand me. I also cleared up that my service is not a booking service that helps place bets for customers, but rather one that aids those that are new to the sport betting world.

  1. Hey Christopher,
Great elevator pitch!! I like how you explained more about what services you're going to be providing with your sports gambling consulting firm (I believe that's what it is, correct me if im wrong), it sounds like a bomb idea, especially if sports gambling is a popular thing and there are many novice people getting into it. They could definitely use your services to avoid losing money.

  2. Hi Christopher,

I really liked your elevator pitch, especially since you really cleared up details about your company. I think you have a strong idea of what you want, and that comes across in this pitch. It was easy to understand and it seems like your idea is strong. I also like that you really incorporated the feedback. Overall, this was a great pitch.

  3. Hi Christopher,
The elevator pitch was well done, and really conveyed what you're trying to do with your company. One thing I could recommend however is filming the pitch in an area with better lighting and maybe trying to keep the camera more stable. Good job overall.
